Joanna Stump
I am a local artist, craftsperson and photographer and I have lived in Brackley for 12 years.
I studied woven textiles at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design and was awarded a
Licentiate of the Society of Designer Craftsmen on graduation.
I have exhibited my artwork in a number of galleries over the past 25 years, including the Mall Galleries in London.
My paintings are inspired by my passion for the natural world.
I use acrylic paint on canvas to celebrate the colour and beauty of our British wildlife
and to capture the shapes and textures of our wild environment.
I use spirals, stars and mandala patterns to represent the magic and joy of these amazing animals.
I sometimes include texts by different authors to express the animals' spirituality.
My Facebook page is “Joanna Stump Creations”.
