Hilary Spurrier specialises in landscape and wildlife photography.
After a career spanning 40 years in education Hilary has developed a longstanding interest in photography evolving from a “holiday snapper” to a photographer keen to explore the medium as an art form. Specialising in landscape and wildife/nature photography Hilary has travelled extensively in Britain and to some remoter regions of the world. She is particularly interested in capturing light and drama in landscapes.
Her images are rarely subjected to much editing other than “cropping “ and “straightening” so remain natural and “as seen”. She is fascinated by water and reflections. Many of her images are local to Northamptonshire with the Grand Union canal providing a constant source of inspiration.
